International Projects at the Hochschulgemeinde Rosenheim

Unused opportunities to get to know people from other cultures are missed insights.* (Beate Antonie Tröster).

… and who of us likes to miss out on insights? There are so many new things to learn when you get involved with other cultures, other languages, other people, other circumstances. Looking beyond one’s own nose often means having to make an effort to understand and respect the other, to renegotiate one’s own principles. But nothing beats the added value of such encounters.
That’s why we think outside the box. This is what we do…

…on the one hand we offer aciivities on site at the SSZ with our international evenings with students from all over the world! Every Wednesday during the current semester, starting at 7 p.m., we cook together, play billiards, chat, feast, and exchange ideas! From time to time we also organize special theme evenings or events. These will be announced separately on the homepage!
If you feel like it, just come by or write an email to kotouc@hochschulgemeinde.de for further information!

…on the other hand from time to time we gladly also offer activities in other countries. Whether f.e. hiking tours through Romania, Scotland or Spain or exchange programs with South Africa, Cape Town. Intensive contacts and friendships have developed there, a mutual, deep connection to the respective partner country. Shared experiences, joint work on topics that affect us all globally, such as the topics of the SDGs, new ideas – new insights. Which we don’t want to miss anymore!!!
And we want this to continue.

We are planning for the international meetings and events to take place in future semesters!
If you feel like getting involved, looking beyond your own nose, then get in touch!

An offer for students of the TH Rosenheim.
